Full Circle was the longest of my TV journeys. We set out from a remote island in the Bering Strait and returned there ten months later having followed the Pacific coastline for some 50,000 miles. They call this coastline the Ring Of Fire, as massive tectonic forces are pushing the floor of the Pacific Ocean upwards and outwards.
We travelled through seventeen countries, past active volcanoes, and deserts where it’s not rained for hundreds of years. We crossed the snow-capped Andes, and sailed through the mighty gorges of the Yangtse. An amazing experience and here’s a feast of fine photographs to remember it by.
